Electrical faults in Dubai homes are easy to live with for a week and expensive to ignore for a month. A warm socket, lights that dip when the AC starts, a breaker that will not reset, or a kitchen circuit that smells faintly of heat are not quirks of an old building — they are warnings. Guest bathrooms added without a proper earth, overloaded extension leads behind the TV wall, and consumer units that were never upsized after a renovation are common in both older apartments and hastily handed-over villas.

AAS Technical Services handles fault finding, repairs and small works for residential and light-commercial properties. We start at the distribution board: labelling, breaker condition, residual-current device tests, and a check of the circuits that keep tripping. From there we trace to the outlet, fitting or junction that is actually failing. We replace damaged sockets and switches, install dedicated points for ovens, water heaters and EV chargers where the supply allows, and rewire lighting that has been bodged through a false ceiling.

Safety is the point of the visit, not a slogan. We do not bypass an RCD to 'make it work until Friday'. If the incoming supply or the landlord's riser is the constraint, we tell you plainly and put it in writing so you can take it to the building management. New points and board changes are left tidy, with breakers labelled in English and a test note. Emergency isolation is available when a circuit is live-faulted and the house cannot wait for a scheduled slot.
