Mold Remediation

Mould in a Dubai home is almost never a cleaning issue on its own. It grows where moisture sits — behind a shower wall with a failed membrane, under an AC drip that has soaked gypsum, inside a bedroom cupboard on an external wall, or along a window reveal that sweats through the humid months. Bleach on the visible spots makes the stain paler for a fortnight and leaves the roots in the plaster. The smell returns, the paint blisters again, and anyone in the house with asthma notices first.

AAS Technical Services treats mould as a moisture problem with a hygiene finish, not as a spray-and-go service. We look for the water: AC drains, wet-area leaks, roof entry, bridging from a planter, or chronic condensation on an uninsulated wall. Growth is contained so spores are not walked through the rest of the home. Affected gypsum, silicone and soft materials that cannot be cleaned to a sound surface are removed. Remaining hard surfaces are physically cleaned and treated with an appropriate antimicrobial, then dried before any paint or silicone goes back.

If the cause is a building defect we say so and quote the repair — waterproofing, drain correction, or ventilation — because remediation without that step is a wasted visit. Occupied rooms are worked with protection on floors and furnishings. We do not use ozone gimmicks as a substitute for removal. When the area is dry and treated, we can repaint with a stain-blocking system so the outline of the old patch does not telegraph through. You receive photos of the hidden source, not just a scented room.
