Floors in Dubai take a beating from sand, AC dryness, underfloor movement and wet kitchen traffic. Cheap laminate that was clicked over an uneven screed telegraphs every ridge within a year. Vinyl that was not acclimatised shrinks at the edges. Marble that was never honed correctly holds every rust and coffee mark. Replacing a floor is disruptive, so the specification has to be right the first time — the right product for the room, the right underlay, and a level substrate.

AAS Technical Services supplies and installs laminate, SPC (stone-plastic composite), luxury vinyl and engineered timber for apartments and villas. We measure the actual rooms, not the original floor plan, and we check doors, kitchen plinths and wet-area thresholds before we order. Subfloors are prepared: ridges ground, hollows filled, moisture checked. Expansion gaps are left where the product needs them, even when a client asks us to run tight to every wall. Wet rooms stay tiled unless a product is explicitly rated and detailed for that use.

Old floors are uplifted and removed when included. Skirtings can be replaced or undercut. We protect adjacent rooms while we work and we leave the floor clean, with a spare pack labelled for future repairs. If a doorway needs trimming or a transition strip to an existing marble lobby, that is in the quote rather than a surprise on the last afternoon.
